Audio Dock for Nexus 7 coming soon

As great as the Nexus 7 tablet is, it could use a few more accessories. ASUS Japan has announced that an audio dock is coming for the popular Android tablet. The dock features expansion via a USB port and a 3.5mm jack and the Nexus 7 docks in landscape orientation ideal for viewing movies and charging as a desk clock. It will sell for just $41 USD. No news on whether it will be sold in the Google Play Store.

Google's unlocked Nexus 4 sale fail

Was it a case of bait and switch or did Google really not have enough stock of its anticipated Nexus 4 smartphones to sell to buyers. 

Either way, today's sale fail doesn't speak well of Google who announced the new devices on October 29, generated intense hype and interest and then failed to deliver on product stock.

The Apple Beat: iPad mini will likely succeed by creating its own niche


Amazon's getting twitchy about the iPad mini. It ran this comparison on its websiteBy Gadjo Cardenas Sevilla

Apple did not create the iPad mini to battle Amazon's Kindle or even Google's Nexus 7, at least not in price. The new 7.9-inch tablet, which shares a lot of the specs of the iPad 2, is likely going to create its own niche while diversifying the iPad's existing user base.
