New rumours surface of a 12.2-inch iPad Pro

Apple hasn’t confirmed that a larger screened iPad is coming out but that doesn’t stop the rumour mill from saying there is one on the way. Calling it the iPad Pro, it will reportedly have a 12.2-inch display that will have a thickness between 6.9mm and 7.1mm. It is said to carry the same design language as the iPad Air 2 and might even have one pair of speakers and microphones at the top and bottom of the device. It is expected to make its appearance in 2015.

Report surfaces about Microsoft’s plans to unveil a wearable device in the coming weeks

It looks like there would be another contender into the wearable device ring. This time around, Microsoft is rumoured to be unveiling its smartwatch in the coming weeks. The wearable will reportedly track its wearer’s heart rate and work on different mobile platforms. But its biggest edge would be it promises more than two days of battery with regular use. This will definitely put it ahead of its competitors that are only able to deliver a day’s use for their smartwatches. If this report is to be believed, this will be Microsoft’s first foray into the wearable tech market under CEO Satya Nadella.

Google’s Nexus 6 rumoured to drop this month

If we are to believe the rumour mill, we will be seeing the next Nexus device soon enough. Codenamed Shamu, the Nexus 6 is tipped to be a phablet bearing a 5.9-inch QHD display. The new Nexus will also be reportedly made by Motorola and will run on 3GB of RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor.

From the looks of it, the Nexus 6 certainly has flagship specs written all over it. And with how Google prices its Nexus devices, this has what it takes to be a crowd-pleaser. Of course, these are all still rumours at the moment. But if it is true that the device is coming this month, then we can’t wait to see it.

Facebook tipped to be working on anonymous mobile app

Facebook has been getting flak for its real name policy and they seem to have a different solution for it: create a different anonymous app. The New York Times reports that the company is working on an app that will let users interact with each other anonymously. And the purported app is coming pretty soon. It will reportedly let users register under multiple identities and discuss topics you wouldn’t normally talk about when you use your real name.
