Samsung's additional Galaxy S23 colour options might be harder to come by

If you aren't interested in the more standard colour options Samsung plans to release for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 devices, you might have to order quickly to get your hands on them. The Samsung Galaxy S23 line is rumoured to have four main colour variants: Phantom Black, Botanic Green, Cotton Flower (cream), and Misty Lilac (light pink / lavender).

But there have been reports that there will be four additional hues: grey, light blue, light green, and red. However, the company will reportedly produce these in limited quantities. And as with past Galaxy launches, we're assuming not all colours will be available in all markets.

With the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event happening on February 1, more rumours about the Samsung Galaxy S23 series continue to surface. The new Samsung flagship will reportedly run on a modified Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Some people claim they've seen documentation refer to the processor as "Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform for Galaxy." The chip will supposedly come with a prime core clocked a bit higher than the standard variant (at 3.36GHz instead of the standard 3.19GHz).

With the Samsung Galaxy S23 launch expected at the start of February, it's unsurprising to see the number of rumours surrounding the device. This time, we're seeing some promotional materials showing off the signature shades of the next Samsung flagship. There's the Samsung Galaxy S23+ in pink and the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra in a more subtle green than the S22 and black. While the base model isn't anywhere in sight, that typically shares the colour scheme of the S23+.

Can we finally mark February 1 as the next date for the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event? Notorious Samsung leaker Universe Ice on Twitter recently shared the date saying the start of February will be when the Galaxy S23 series will be launched. It does fall within the timeframe when Samsung introduces its newest flagship. The company has yet to confirm the rumours, but we are seeing an increase in leaks surrounding the phone so it isn't surprising that we're starting to hear about the launch date as well.
