Video: TELUS to offer Nexus S and Galaxy S Fascinate 4G 

Announced today during the TELUS Spring event were the Samsung Galaxy S Fascinate 4G which will be able to access superfast data (21mpbs) and the Google Nexus S which is the first Android OS 2.3 Gingerbread smartphone in the market and offers VOiP calling as well as a front-facing camera for video chats. The two smartphones are expected to launch "within 30 to 60 days."

TELUS to unlock all devices starting Feb 15, for $50

According to Boy Genius Report, Telus will be charging $50 to unlock any handset or device they sell that has a SIM card staring February 15th provided users are,  "active post-paid customers with an account that has been open for a minimum of 90 days." This service is good for iDEN and GSM devices.

The biggest benefit of having an unlocked device is the freedom to insert any working SIM card and use it on that network while maintaining all your contacts, apps and information on your phonew. We hope more carriers get with the unlocking program and offer their customers the freedom they deserve. Hit jump for the full press release.
