WhatsApp comes to Android Wear, lets you reply to messages right from your wrist

It’s not really being publicized yet but a WhatsApp update will let you access the app right from your Android Wear-powered smartwatch. The official download from WhatsApp’s site doesn’t specify the Android Wear-related features but you when you manually download the app, it will show up on your Android device. And the app doesn’t just send you notifications, it lets you read stacked conversation messages and reply to them using your voice. We might see it on the Google Play Store soon but if you can’t wait to get it, you can grab the download here.

WhatsApp updates Android app to let you mute groups for up to a century

Found yourself part of a group on WhatsApp you don’t want to hear from? Well, a new update for the messaging client on Android lets you mute a particular group for up to 100 years. It now even lets you hide notifications from the group past a week (a feature that wasn’t previously available). Perhaps leaving the group would’ve been an easier option. But if you don’t feel like offending anyone, then just mute away. The update isn’t up on Google Play yet so you’d have to download the app from WhatsApp’s site.
