New iPhone App for Doors Open Toronto 2010
Each year, Doors Open Toronto provides access to otherwise restricted, closed or inaccessible buildings around the city. This year's event takes place on May 29 and 30 and yes, there's an app for that.
All of the Doors Open locations can be found right on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch (provided you've got Wi-Fi). Here is a list of features
- Browse locations using criteria like accessibility, parking availability, district, and more.
- Looking for a specific building? Find it using Google Maps. Phone number available? Give them a call!
- Add the app to your home screen and enjoy fullscreen mode and a convenient dashboard icon.
- Quick links to more information about Doors Open.

Doors Open Toronto — Mobile Edition was created by Brian Gilham, using freely-available data, combined with a dash of JQTouch. It is decidedly unofficial. Questions or concerns? Contact Brian at me@briangilham.com. If you have a second, check out another one of his projects, TTCupdates.

Finally! A useful iPhone app for me! This will be a great help for an event goer like me.
