Telus launches Motorola Charm Android phone

Telus has recently released the strangely fascinating Motorola Charm. This is another Android powered handset but it isn't purely a touchscreen device and comes with a sizeable keyboard. The Charm comes with OS Android 2.1, a 2.8-inch touchscreen display with a 320×280 resolution, 3.0 megapixel camera with autofocus and video recording, WiFi, and microSD card expansion.

The Motorola Charm is an interesting smartphone with an unusual form factor. It comes with the latest Android OS (thank goodness!) and from what we've seen when we previewed the device last month, it is ideal for typing messages quickly since the device was designed around the integrated keyboard and not the screen. It also gives users the typical Android OS touch features that they have grown used to. What we hope to find out is how apps will scale to the square screen and 320x280 resolution.

This also has Motorola’s social media savvy app/skin/interface MOTOBLUR (which is being phased out as per Motorola's co-president, Sanjay Jha) You can get the Motorola Charm with  No-contract: $249.99; 1-year contract: $199.99; 2-year contract: $149.99 and the 3-year contract is $29.99.
