Skype gifts U.S. travelers with free airport WiFi during holidays

Ahh, holiday travel. It is fun but can be stressful, specially when you need to get online to update your Facebook status or check in on Foursquare. Skype is giving the gift of free WiFi access during the holidays. Skype will offer an hour of free access between December 21-27th in select US airports

Hit jump for a full list of participating airports.

Anyone traveling the and from the US can enjoy the offer. Below are the details from the Skype blog.

Skype WiFi is available to travelers on PCs, Macs and iOS devices.** To get started make sure you've downloaded the latest version of Skype for Windows or Skype for Mac, or have downloaded the Skype WiFi app on your iOS device. Once you have signed in with a valid Skype ID, check your wireless network connection to see if you are in a supported hotspot. It's that simple.

The holidays are all about connecting with those you love. Skype is excited to help you maintain these meaningful connections wherever you may be this holiday season. A voice orvideo call via Skype when you can't be together for the holidays is the next best thing to being there. For more information on Skype WiFi please visithttp://www.skype.com/go/skypewifi/.

Skype also encourages you to tweet with the hashtag #freeskypewifi and tell us how free Skype WiFi made your travels a little more enjoyable. Hit jump for a full list of participating airports.
