Review: id America Skyline Rigid Flex Case for iPhone 4/4S

We usually avoid rubber iPhone cases simply because they usually attract a lot of dust, many get deformed and we find that many inadvertently turn the phone on or off when not necessary. id America's Skyline Rigid Flex Case for the iPhone 4 and 4S goes against the grain in terms of quality and design.

Secured Perfect fitment Skyline Rigid-flex Case ($24.95) is made with specially stiffened thermoplastic polyurethanes to provide rigidity you need for protection and flexibility you need for the perfect fitment.

We used the case without the plastic inserts and found it to be pliable yet rigid and its matte finish seems to be repellent to dust and dirt. Note that the perforated design as well as the general style of this case usually results in dust, pocket lint and other debris getting stuck in between the iPhone and the case. While the iPhone 4 is resilient and pretty resistant to scratches, any bit of dust lodged in between the case and the glass might cause scratches.

That being said, we'v eused the Skyline Rigid Flex Case for a week on our iPhone 4S and have been satisfied with it. Lightweight and well built, it feels slightly better than other silicone cases we've used. We did notice that the case does at times cause the iPhone to wake from sleep, something of an issue with the case and the power button which is easily triggered.
