CES 2012: Toshiba's New Design Direction is a show standout

Toshiba? Is that you? Looking at the Hummer-like Toshiba Thrive next to its sleek and skinny sibling the Toshiba Excite X10 shows how Toshiba has been able to drastically improve their design for their products. They already have one of the best looking ultrabooks around and now their tablets are starting to push the boundaries. Best of all, they look original and can't be accused of copying Apple in any way shape or form. This means real differentiation and fewer lawsuits. It also means consumers now have great options for products that don't look and feel like cheap plastic toys. We see you Toshiba, we like where this is going.
