JVC challenges wearable adventure camera market with ADIXXION Camcorder

The most exciting thing in video cameras right now is the wearable compact adventure camera segment. With rugged yet capabile HD video and still camera that can take a beating. The JVC GC-XA1 A Adixxion is clearly designed to deliver the best performance in this segment. Just avoid wearing it in McDonald's.

The JVC ADIXXION is also WiFi capable and can link to smartphones and even livestream apps like Ustream for realtime broadcasting over the Internet

This JVC calls itself quad proof, which means it  is dust- and freeze-proof, waterproof to a depth of five metres, and shockproof to withstand a fall from two metres. the JVC GC-XA1 Adixion includes built-in Wi-Fi, a 1.5-inch LCD monitor, and an ultra-wideangle lens. The GC-XA1 comes with a goggle mount, flexible mount, two lens protection covers. It should cost around  $349.95.
