Apple Retail Stores to open in Halifax and Coquitlam

It's going to be a good weekend for Canadian Apple Retail Stores, two more are opening this Saturday August 18th. Apple will open its first Maritime Store at the Halifax Shopping Centre at 9:30am. Apple Store Halifax  will be the 24th store in Canada.   Apple Store Coquitlam, opening the same day, will be the 5th store in Vancouver and the 25th store in Canada making a total of 375 stores around the world. Remember, first 1000 vistors get a free t-shirt!.

Prior to Halifax, the closest store to the East Coast of Canada was in Quebec City, over 600 miles away and a ten hour drive. The new stores will feature Apple's full line of products providing customers with the opportunity for hands on experience with iPad, iPhone, Mac and more and has areas dedicated completely to Apple store essentials to get the most out of your Apple products.

The Apple Store in Market Mall, Calgary Alberta also re-opens this weekend. The Market Mall store originally opened in September 2008.  The store is re-opening on Saturday at 9:30am local time and it is re-designed and relocated in the mall.
