HTC One max launches with 5.9-inch screen, global release seen by mid-October
If there was any doubt that 2013 is the year of the supersized smartphone, then that doubt's been effectively dispelled as HTC throws its hat into the ring with the HTC One max. Bringing the experience of the highly regarded HTC One flagship up a few sizes, the One Max is outfitted with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600, 1.7GHz quad-core CPU, 2GB of RAM, 16 or 32GB of storage and added expansion via microSD. The Max runs Android 4.3 with HTC Sense 5.5, HTC BlinkFeed.
"The addition of the HTC One max means that we now have an HTC One phone for everyone. The family has been built on quality and game-changing innovations and the HTC One max is certainly no exception," said Peter Chou, CEO of HTC Corporation. "The upgrade to HTC Sense 5.5 will provide our most amazing mobile experience yet, with the HTC One max delivering the size and power required to do everything you want, and more, without compromise."
While we haven't heard Canadian-specific release dates, prices or carriers, the HTC One Max is a UK-first release that will begin rolling out across the globe from mid - end October.
