Are you a Rogers customer and can't place calls? You're not alone

UPDATE 1:

Well, Twitter has spoken; apparently the outage is effecting Fido users' as well and is cross-country. Still awaiting word from Rogers.

UPDATE 2:

Rogers has acknowledged the outage via Twitter:

For once it's not you, it's Rogers.

Reports are filling up the interwebs that Rogers' voice network is experiencing sporadic outages nationwide. Word has it that mobile data, however, is working fine (this includes: WhatsApp, iMessage, Email and browsing).

We've reached out to Rogers for comment and are awaiting response.

Stay tuned...

I have Rogers for Internet and my WiFi is working fine. But no calls in or out.

Rogers service is returning to normal and Rogers wants to make it up to their customers by providing one free day of service. They're still investigating the cause of the nationwide service outage.
