MediaFire offers 50GB free storage for new desktop app

File hosting site MediaFire takes an aim at Dropbox’s market with a new desktop app for Windows and OS X. MediaFire Desktop allows you to upload and share files directly from your desktop and gives you 50GB of free storage. However, CNet claims the maximum individual file size is set at 200MB and allows drag-and-drop uploading instead of syncing. It is important to note that if you won’t be uploading videos, then the file size cap should just be fine.

Yeah, Copy is definitely better. You will get 5 GB for every referral. I already have close to 200 GB (!) of free space and I believe there is no individual file size limit.

Sign up using this referral code and you will start out with 20 GB:
