With the availability of the new Mac Pro starting today, Apple's Final Cut Pro X application is getting an update to be able to manage 4K monitors as well as work with the new hardware. A ton of features coming to FCP have been long awaited by many users who were otherwise underwhelmed by the intial feature set of the revamped Final Cut Pro. Compressor and Motion have also been updated in order to better manage 4K content and  Motion is now tuned to work with the new Mac Pro and its dual AMD GPUs.
