Twitter version 10.2 now available for BB10, now supports multiple accounts and DMs

Twitter v.10.2 update just went live on the BlackBerry World app store and will improve the Twitter experience for users by bringing in features that have long been available on third party Twitter clients. Including the ability to use multiple accounts within the app, the ability to view, reply and send direct messages right between the app and an improved refresh feature. The new Twitter app (version 10.2) for BlackBerry 10 smartphones includes:

Ø  Multiple Accounts – With Twitter 10.2 you can now have multiple Twitter accounts within the app.

Ø  Direct Message – Twitter 10.2 allows you to view, reply and send Direct Messages right within the app.    

Ø  Improved Refresh – Improved refresh maintains your current location in the timeline. 

Ø  Discover – Twitter 10.2 offers a new Discover page which delivers a stream of Tweets, accounts to follow and more. Simply pull to refresh or scroll to see more and discover even more fascinating people to follow. Plus the Activity page provides a view into what the people you are following are doing on Twitter including who they’re following and what tweets they’re favoring.  

Ø  Updated Photo Save – With Twitter 10.2 you can save pictures being shared on Twitter directly to your BlackBerry 10 smartphone.

Ø  Search Improvements – Now you can view your recent and saved searches, and with Type Ahead, search suggestions are provided to you as text is entered in the search field.

Ø  Refreshed UI – A wider timeline in all parts of the app offers a fresh new design and makes it easier to browse.

Nice seeing BBM improving to keep up with their competitors. I wish I can save enough money to buy this.
