Rogers brings Wireless Home Phone solution starting at $9.99

Rogers says that consumer demand in Canada for home phone services continues to be popular with over 80% of families with kids continuing having a landline service at home. The Wireless Home Phone solution offers a traditional home phone experience while connecting to the Rogers wireless network. Now, customers outside of Rogers Home Phone territory can have an affordable home phone experience from Rogers at the introductory price of $9.99 a month.

It’s a flexible solution for customers, allowing them to keep their current phone number and effortlessly move the service to any residence or office where the national Rogers wireless network is available. The no-term service includes unlimited Canada-wide calling, enhanced voicemail, caller ID and the ability to connect two phone.

Here is how it works:

  • Customers can simply purchase the Wireless Home Phone device, which is an electrically powered adapter with an active SIM card
  • Plug the device into their existing cord or cordless home phone
  • Customers who already have a landline can simply plug into their existing cordless or corded phone into the Wireless Home Phone device and keep the same home telephone number

The service is also available for Rogers small business customers and Fido wireless customers.
