TELUS and Free the Children launch We365 app and mobile initiative

By Gadjo Cardenas Sevilla

TELUS and Free the Children launched the free mobile app and website for We635. This is a social platform that can enable young people to track and verify their volunteer activities for school. Serving as a communications hub for 85,000 registered charities in Canada. We365 can also be used for fundraising activities. We365 will available for IPhone, BlackBerry and Android on October and will be accessible online at we365.com.

The app and service can track verified volunteer hours. It can also be used to raise funds for 85,000 Canadian charities, follow various causes, create groups to share information and even gain badges and gasification which can then be shared on various social platforms. With every free sign up, TELUS promises to inoculate a child in a third world country.
