SwiftKey raises 17.5 million in Series B funding to further its Android development

One of the driving catalysts in me becoming a devout Android user, aside from the customization, is having the ability to use SwiftKey as my on-screen keyboard. Simply put: it's the best money you'll ever spend on an app and should probably be the first thing you buy when you switch to Android and get yourself setup. SwiftKey is so good, in fact,  it also happens to provide the autocorrect software for onscreen keyboards found on BlackBerry 10 and Samsung devices.

Today, SwiftKey announced a new 17.5 million dollar Series B round of funding led by Index Ventures. This new round will help the UK-based developer further break into the North American market.
