Let the Santa tracking begin!

Since December is already here, Google has rolled out their Santa Tracker feature to keep your kids (and yourself) entertained throughout the month. Aside from having a countdown timer for Santa’s arrival, there are also other special features to watch for. There is a Calendar feature to see when Santa will arrive, header features show what games, videos, or lessons are released on which days. You will even be able to send a voice message to the kids using any phone you like at one point this month.

The Santa Tracker feature is also meant to get kids involved with programming. There will be kid-focused Javascript lessons that will be available during the month. Right now there’s already a Rudolph racing game, side-scrolling video of people being turned into elves at the airport security checkpoint, and a lesson of how kids celebrate Christmas around the world. In case you and your kids want to track Santa on your Android phones, there’s an app for that, too.
