Samsung’s J.K. Shin gets to keep job despite S5’s low sales

Samsung isn’t letting go of mobile chief J.K. Shin yet. All the heads of Samsung’s different business arms retain their positions. But after reportedly selling 40% less than expected for the Galaxy S5, someone is taking the fall. The one taking responsibility for the sales slump is president and head of sales and marketing for mobile unit, D.J. Lee. There is no word yet who will replace him. And rumours have circulated that there will be other job cuts in the company’s mobile division as well.
