Fake ‘The Interview’ Android app steals bank account details

Looks like more hackers are getting in on The Interview’s controversial tale. A new fake app making rounds in South Korea promises to download a copy of the movie for you. Instead, it steals your bank account details. McAfee security researcher Graham Cluley said in a blog post that the app is an Android Trojan they identified as Android/Badaccents which targets several Korean banks and one international bank (Citibank). And interestingly enough, it is designed to not target North Korean users. This story is just a reminder to stop downloading everything you see online until you can verify that it is from a legitimate source.
