Arms-in with the Canada Goose 'Branta' Roxton Shirt

As Canada braves through this cold, unforgiving spell known as the polar vortex, there is one brand that has stood the test, benchmarked itself as a household name, and become the quintessential, go-to jacket for warmth and comfort. That brand is Canada Goose. However, despite popular belief, Canada isn't all ridiculous deep freeze cold and snow (well, at least not two solid months a year), we do get fairly livable weather and Canada Goose recognizes it.

Thus, in an effort to expand their brand passed 'winter-only', while leveraging their exclusive Branta Collection, a new light-weight shirt/jacket hybrid called the "Roxton" was released with the intentions of easing the Winter-Spring transition, while keeping its wearer looking Canada Goose cool.

Let's take a look at the men's Canada Goose Branta Roxton shirt in graphite:

Designed to look like a pocket-less jacket, but worn like a warm dress shirt, the Roxton demands to be shown off on its own, warn over a hoodie/t-shirt, or layered under a warmer vest. As per Canada Goose, the jacket is filled with "tiny goose feathers that are lightweight, compressible, and efficiently hold body heat." The down is rated in "power fill" meaning the higher the number, the greater the quality. The greater the quality, the better the loft and warmth-to-weight ratio." In terms of the Roxton, the shirt/jacket hybrid is rated to keep a body warm up to -5 celcius with 675 fill-power white down.

Needless to say, it fits my streetstyle to a T.

Whether walking around the streets of Toronto or chilling in the chalet in Collingwood, the Roxton has entered my regular rotation as a go-to shirt for activity or relaxation. Pick it up, it's worth every penny.
