Archos debuts three smartphones, one tablet before MWC

 

Archos jumps the gun and debuts four new gadgets ahead of next week’s Mobile World Congress. The three phones are 50c Oxygen, 64 Xenon, and 40b Titanium, while the tablet is the 80 Helium 4G. The three smartphones will run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean but will carry different processors and displays.

The 50c Oxygen is the flagship of the bunch and has a Mediatek octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz (based on Cortex A7 architecture), 5-inch 1280 x 720 IPS display, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, HSPA+ connectivity, and 8-megapixel rear camera and 2MP front camera.

The 64 Xenon has a Mediatek quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, 6.4-inch 1280 x 720 IPS display, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, HSPA+ connectivity, and 8MP rear camera and 2MP front camera.

The 40b Titanium has a Mediatek dual-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, 4-inch 800 x 480 IPS display, 512MB RAM, 4GB storage, HSPA+ connectivity, and 5MP rear camera and VGA front camera.

 

The 80 Helium 4G tablet features a Qualcomm quad-core processor, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, 1GB RAM, 4G LTE connectivity, 8-inch 1024 x 768 IPS display, and 5MP rear camera and 2MP front camera.

Price for the phones range from US$249 for the 80 Helium, $199 for the 50C Oxygen and 64 Xenon, to $119 for the 40b Titanium. You can view the full spec sheet over here.
