SlideShow: A look inside OpenTable's San Francisco office

By Gadjo Cardenas Sevilla

OpenTable is the eminent online and mobile restaurant reservation app. The company pioneered web-based reservation for San Francisco area restaurants in 1999 and has since evolved to serving over 30,000 restaurants globally. Made up of wicked smart teams of engineers and developers, OpenTable is a success story in the increasingly competitive service app environment. They have branched out to guest management, table maangement and seating, POS integration as well as reports and even mobile payments.

I visited their San Francsico offices to learn more about their business, innovation as well as their corporate culture. Their office features various nooks and spaces for employees to take over and work, food is a big part of their business so it wasn't unexpected to see a large kitchen set up right in their lobby. Aside from various desks for developers, meeting rooms that use the iPad mini as a means to set appointments, phone rooms for conferencing and wide open space, the OpenTable offices get a stunning view of bustling dowtown San Francisco.
