Sony unveils ‘world’s best selfie smartphone’

Sony’s new device is trying to attract a new market with its new smartphone. The Xperia C3 is designed with a selfie-optimized front camera that they call “PROselfie”. The 5-megapixel front shooter also has wide-angle lens, Superior Auto mode, soft LED flash, HDR support, as well as other software features to help you take your best selfie yet. Sony is also letting you take those selfies easier by double tapping the back cover. The main shooter of the device is an 8MP camera with Exmor RS image sensor and other photo-ready apps.

The other specs include a 5.5-inch HD IPS display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.2GHz  quad-core processor, Android 4.4.2 operating system, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage with microSD support, dual SIM support, 4G LTE, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, and 2500mAh battery. The phone will first be available in China this August and it will be available in black, white, and mint. There is no word yet about the price or when they plan to release it to other markets.
