Leica introduces new rangefinder camera

Leica might be foregoing its identifiable red brand logo for its new camera but it doesn’t mean they’re scrimping on quality. The new Leica M-P features a 24-megapixel CMOS sensor, Leica Maestro processor, ISO range of 200 – 6400, and a shutter speed of 1/4000s – 60 seconds. It also has the ability to shoot three frames per second until you run out of the internal 2GB of storage and it comes with optional EVF. If you find yourself wanting for storage, you can use an SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card. The M-P also comes equipped a mono integrated microphone and an optional stereo mic adapter as well as a sapphire glass-covered 3-inch TFT display. It comes in black and silver chrome and retails for US$7,950.
