Yahoo News Digest for iPad puts delightful spin on news reading

Yahoo introduced Yahoo News Digest for iPad to give more users a delightful and inspiring way to read the news. The app brings the award-winning experience from the iPhone to an even bigger screen, and introduces new features: Hit jump for details.

• A weekly video segment from Yahoo’s global anchor Katie Couric will premiere every Sunday and walk viewers through the significant story of the week.
• iPad app users can dig deeper into the news they care about with beautiful Sections, like Technology, Sports, and Politics. Sections will be available in the US edition today, and are rolling out to the Canadian and international editions soon.
• Due to popular demand, iPad users now can customize the times they receive their morning digest (between 6am and 10am) and evening digest (between 5pm and 9pm).
