WordPress resets 100,000 accounts after Gmail leak

WordPress is taking precautionary measures after five million Gmail accounts were leaked over at a Russian Bitcoin forum. They have reset 100,000 accounts that share passwords with the associated Gmail accounts. Those who were affected need to login over at the homepage and request for a new password.

Automattic’s Daryl Houston said they have sent out emails to the users to notify affected users to reset passwords and gain access to the account.
