Samsung Galaxy Note Edge coming to Canada on Feb 18, preorders available today

Samsung's anticipated curved phablet, the Galaxy Note Edge, is finally coming to Canada on February 18, pre-orders are available starting today. We know that Rogers will definitely be carrying the Note Edge as it prepares to showcase its recently launched CAT6 network which combines the AWS and 2600 MHz spectrum to increase speeds. The Note Edge is the first device in Canada that can take advantage of these faster network speeds.

Revealed last year, the  Note Edge sets itself apart from the multitude of phablets through its curved screen that runs along the right side of the device. This was designed to deliver access to email, Internet, apps, notifications, news without interrupting the content on the main screen. Its a novel concept that should add excitement to an already popular line of devices. As for pricing, Rogers has the device available for preorder starting at $399 for two-year plans.

Specs include a choice of either a 2.7 GHz Quad-core processor or a 1.9 GHz Octa-Core processor, although Samsung isn't saying which one Canada is getting. The Note Edge has all the features expected from a flagship Note smartphone such as the QUAD HD Super AMOLED display, S Pen, 16MP rear-facing camera, Ultra Power Saving Mode and Fast Charging with a compatible charger.
