First Impression: BlackBerry Passport redesigned for AT&T

Las Vegas - BlackBerry just redesigned the BlackBerry Passport specifically for AT&T users in the coming year. The makeover is pretty cosmetic and makes the AT&T model less square, more rounded at the corners and with styling that is reminiscent of the BlackBerry Classic.

BlackBerry CEO John Chen said that AT&T wasn't keen on the Passport's square shape, so as a concession to their partner, BlackBerry designed the device to conform to what AT&T had in mind for a modern BlackBerry device.

The result is that the AT&T Passport and the Classic both look quite similar with rounded metal corners. There is one noticeable difference, the newer Passport has a larger bottom lip than the original, which might make it a bit easier to type with two hands

The new Passport shares all the functions and specs of the original model which is being sold in black, white and a limited edition red colour.
