Apple to invest $2 billion for new data centers in Europe
Apple is building two new data centers in Europe and they will be spending €1.7 billion. The money will be spent for construction and operation. The state-of-the-art facilities will be in Central Jutland Region of Denmark and County Galway in Ireland. These centers will be powering Apple’s online services like iTunes Store, iMessages, App Store, Siri, and Maps for European users.
These data centers will be powered by 100% clean and renewable energy sources. Apple will also team up with local partners to create more renewable energy projects for future use.
