BEEP gaining celebrity status

By Sonya Davidson

Have you heard of Beep? This relatively new comer to the social media circles is causing a bit of a frenzy since it's recent launch in October 2014. The social media voice network has recently announced it's now reaching over 50 million poeple from the United States to the Philippines.

In comparison to Twitter's growth in its early days, Beep is growing twice as fast and the company expects to quadruple its users in 2015 (available in iTunes and GooglePlay).

What is it? Beep users record short voice messages called "beeps" which can then be sent to a friend, shared openly to the public or posted on other social networks like Facebook.

The app received a huge boost by Hollywood stars like Will Smith who used the app to thank fans for his recent birthday wishes. Then used it again to say Happy New Year to fans in several languages!

Singer Deborah Cox recently used it to preview her new music and with Valentine's Day just around the corner, she's teamed up with Beep for something special launching on February 10th. Hint: start thinking of someone you "Kinda Miss" and might want to send a message to. See atthebeep.com for more info.

I'll be keeping an eye (and ear) on this one.
