Neptune unleashing Suite of wearable solutions for US $599 on Indiegogo

Fresh off the launch of Neptune Duo, Montreal based Neptune is unleashing the Suite, a slate of accessories to complement the company's hugely-anticipated Smart-watch/pocket screen combo.

The newer, smarter version of Neptune's inaugural Pine, the Duo is comprised of the Hub, a smart-watch with a powerful quad-core processor, as well as support for 3G/LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and NFC. Accompanying the Hub is the Pocket screen, a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen with rear and front-facing cameras that is an interface for the Hub.

Launched last month, Neptune Duo created a frenzy in the tech space, raising nearly three quarters of a million dollars in liquid cash within a week, and booking XX reservations.

The market validation allowed Neptune to accelerate plans for its Neptune Suite, now available on Indiegogo for an introductory rate of $599USD/$765CDN.  The Suite includes:

  • Neptune Hub: A powerful quad-core processor that supports 3G/LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and NFC.
  • Pocket Screen: An interface for Neptune Hub. With a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen as well as rear and front-facing cameras, the Pocket screen is an experience equivalent to a smartphone.
  • Tab Screen: With a 10-inch capacitive touchscreen as well as a front-facing camera, the Tab screen is an experience equivalent to a tablet.
  • Neptune Keys: A wireless keyboard that may be used on its own with the Dongle or paired with the Tab screen to provide a full laptop experience.
  • Neptune Dongle: A HDMI dongle that turns any existing computer monitor or TV into another screen for your Hub, allowing you to enjoy a full desktop or smart TV experience.
  • Neptune Headset: A wireless pair of headphones with earbuds that snap together magnetically to form a pendant when they’re not in use.

Those supporters who previously purchased the Duo will receive the Suite for the same amount already pledged. Nice upgrade.
