MasterCard Teams Up with Raptor's Kyle Lowry in the latest Priceless Surprise

By Sonya Davidson

Priceless Surprises is the name of the card-payment game these days and things are heating up on and off the court. In MasterCard's latest attempt to spring surprises on unsuspecting card holders, it was everything about making the cut on home turf in Toronto.

The Raptor All-Star point guard Kyle Lowry was in on the Priceless Surprises at his personal barber shop, In The Cut. The owner of the shop, Justin Radam, booked appointments telling each customer that if they paid with BMO MasterCard they would each receive a free "We the North" t-shirt. Cool. But they had no idea that the t-shirt came with a surprise visit from Lowry in the barber shop on the day of their appointment.

Of course, Lowry stepped up and not only did they get free shirts but they (and their friends and family) were also invited to a basketball game viewing from te Elite Suite at the Air Canada Centre as well as an invite to the exclusive after-party with Lowry, the Raptors Dance Pak and mascot. This happened also when MasterCard Priceless Surprises celebrated its one year anniversary.

The Kyle Lowry surprise makrs the fifth in an ongoing Canadian campaign to surprise cardholders when they least expect it.

The Priceless Surprises program has given surprises to nearly 12,000 Canadians who are rewarded just by using MasterCard. Events include seat upgrades at events, meeting entertainers and athletes and much more. Hello...uh, Justin Timberlake!

It's all about surprises here and priceless experiences!
