Expedia.ca announces full-featured Apple Watch app

As one of the 15 selected app launch partners, Expedia.ca just announced that the free Expedia app for Apple Watch will be one of the first users can experience when the wearable device becomes available on April 24, 2015.

Expedia app for Apple Watch will provide travellers with quick access to important travel information on the go. This includes the ability to check itineraries for upcoming trips and get detailed flight and hotel information such as departure and arrival times, gate and terminal numbers, check-in and check-out times, ratings, locations, addresses, and phone numbers for hotels. Handy dandy, eh?

Actionable notifications

Receive notifications on your wrist for flight status, gate changes, hotel check-in and check-out, and more. Running to your gate and your flight gets delayed? The Expedia App will send you notifications on your wrist for flight status, gate changes, hotel check-in and check-out, and more, so you can stop for that much needed coffee after all.

Glances

Easily see the information you care about most at a glance. Simply swipe up on the watch face and scroll left or right to find your Expedia Glance. Wondering if your room is ready or not? See your most relevant reservation information, such as hotel check-in time.

Expedia app for Apple Watch will be available in the Apple Watch App Store on April 24th. The Expedia app for iPhone and tablet is currently available from the App Store.
