Star Wars digital movie collection coming to Xbox Video on April 10

For the first time ever, all six epic films in the Saga, plus all new never-before-seen bonus material, will be available as a complete collection or individually digitally on April 10^th

Disney announced the availability of the Star Wars Digital Movie Collection – all six epic Star Wars films for the first time on Digital HD and Xbox is a digital distribution launch partner. Microsoft is offering exclusives for customers who purchase the Star Wars Digital Movie Collection on Xbox Video, the digital service for new movies and next-day air from Microsoft.

Disney, Lucasfilm, and Twentieth Century Fox announced the availability of the Star Wars Digital Movie Collection, being released on April 10^th – available for pre-purchases on Xbox Video now.

For the first time ever, all six epic films in the Saga, plus all new never-before-seen bonus material, will be available as a complete collection or individually digitally on April 10^th. “Star Wars: The Phantom Menace,” “Star Wars: Attack of the Clones,” “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith,” “Star Wars: A New Hope,” “Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back,” and “Star Wars: Return of the Jedi” are now available for pre-purchase on Xbox Video. Enhancing the movie collection are a host of never-before-seen special features including Star Wars: Discoveries from Inside and insightful Conversations between key contributors from across this celebrated film franchise, plus a curated collection of classic Star Wars extras from each film.

Xbox exclusive incentives. Microsoft is offering two exclusives for fans who purchase the six-film bundle on Xbox Video: everyone’s favorite scrappy astromech droid, R2-D2, via Xbox Live avatar companion, and the action-packed Star Wars Pinball Pack for the free-to-play game “Pinball FX 2” for Xbox One or Xbox 360. In addition, Disney is offering an exclusive Star Wars featurette only on Xbox Video; only by pre-purchasing the Saga on Xbox Video will you receive an exclusive early look at the bonus material included in the Star Wars Digital Movie Collection. Customers will receive the Xbox-exclusive featurette when they pre-purchase the Star Wars Digital Movie Collection bundle on Xbox Video on or after April 6^th, then all six epic films in the Saga will be added to their collection in their high-def. glory on April 10^th.
