First gold Edition Apple Watches begin to ship

Reports are coming in that the first 18k gold Edition Apple Watches are making their way to their discriminating (and wealthy) owners. While the gold Watch has been rocked by celebrities like Pharell, Katy Perry,Beyonce and Kanye West mere mortals who ponied up US $10,000 and up  for the yellow or rose gold variants of the Watch have started to get them.

While they come in a similar white box as the Stainless Steel Watch Editions, the goldies have leather covered inside boxes which double as charging stations and display stands, The Editons also come with colour-matched cleaning cloth and a booklet that discusses the design and production of the Watch.
