Wine Country Ontario Launches New Travel Guide Mobile App
Ontario wineries are recognized around the world as award-winning producers. On a recent press trip to the Niagara region for the preview of this weekend's Niagara Integrated Film Festival, it's no surprise that the stunning vineyards have also become great go-to travel destinations.
This month, Wine Country Ontario releases a new Travel Guide and mobile app that offers trip planning to the region easier. Ontario Wine Country attracts two million visitors each year and this new guide is a keeper with details on the various wine regions as well as where to eat and stay along with local attractions.
The new Wine Country Ontario Mobile App has also launched and will help visitors plan their trips with searchable option by map, categories or key words to find wineries, attractions and more. The app is free and availalble on iOS and for Android.
Wine regions showcased include primary destinations including Lake Erie North Shore, Niagara Escarpment & Twenty Valley, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Prince Edward County and also emerging regions.
Over 500,000 print copies of the Guide will be distributed with the summer issue of LCBO's Food & Drink magazine. It will also be available at wineries, Ontario Tourism and Information Centres. Ebook version can be viewed at www.winecountryontario.ca

App is full of bugs. It always shows my location as Toronto. When you click on a winery for information the scroll function doesn't work. The wineries also have website links which don't work as well.
The app freezes and seems to be buggy. Must have been developed by somebody's nephew. Try again wine country!
