Volvo’s On Call app gets much needed update, Android Wear support

Volvo’s finally introduced a new look to its On Call app on Android. Its look, while still not fully Material Design, does have new elements that you can tinker around with. It has the usual trip log and car location tracker features. It also adds a Google Now-like “smart prediction” cards on your homescreen and has a parking search feature. The app also now has Android Wear support. But it isn’t clear yet what functionalities have been added to Google’s wearable platform. You’ll need to have a 2012 or later Volvo car that has Volvo On Call installed to gain access to the app.
