Microsoft's Windows Mobile Word Flow keyboard coming to iOS

Word Flow keyboard has long been one of the highly praised features on Windows Phone and was used to break the Guinness World Record for fastest texting. We are now working on extending this keyboard to other platforms, starting with iOS. - Microsoft

Microsoft is going to make the predictive and swipe-enabled Word Flow keyboard, previously exclusive to Lumias and Windows Phone devices, to iOS. iPhones and iPads have had the ability to run third party keyboards since iOS 8 and Apple has improved the functionality and ease of use of their stock keyboard.

Microsoft seems to be in the testing phase and is looking to send out invitations to beta users willing to test the Word Flow keyboard on their iPhones.

"Before publicly releasing this keyboard to the App Store, we’d love to give Insiders like you a preview. With your feedback, we’ll build a roadmap of improvements to the keyboard over time," Microsoft said on their blog page. Its nice to seet the some of the best features of Windows Phone make it to other platforms, even if the likelihood of Windows Phone itself surviving another year seems rather slim.
