Apple to make News app available to all publishers

Soon it won't just be the likes of The New York Times that will populate the Apple News app. The tech company will be opening the services' publishing tools to smaller publishers and even individual bloggers. The app has also reportedly fixed its issues with inaccurate reader metrics, which the company admitted to in January. It's said to integrate ComScore and its figuers should be made public by the middle of thee year. Apple is reportedly planning to make it easier for publishers to see data such as unique views, shares, and reading time. And it plans to launch an ad campaign to draw in more readers.
