Sony launches new PlayStation Video app on Android

Sony is making it easier for Android users to watch the content they buy on the PlayStation Store on a device outside of their PS system. The new PlayStation Video app lets you watch the shows and movies you've purchased. It's basically just a video player of sorts. But the app will also let you purchase more TV shows and movies right from within it. Most of the content on the PlayStation Store are, of course, made or distributed by Sony.

The movies become available either the day before or the same day of the DVD. And TV show episodes come out usually the day after it airs on its respective networks. Some of the new movies available on the service include The Hateful Eight, Concussion, and Pointbreak. Take note, though, that some of the shows and films may or may not appear for you due to license and availability issues.
