Twitter shuts down Magic Recs account

The Magic Recs account on Twitter is seen as a useful tool for finding out what’s the hottest accounts at the moment on Twitter—in case you’d want to follow them. But Twitter has shut down the account saying this feature is integrated into push notifications so there isn’t a need for the account to send direct message recommendations to its users. If you want to get those recommendations, you’ll only be able to on mobile. Head to settings, notifications, and switch on the Recommendations option. Although it seems that’s activated by default.
