Twitter adds Message button to send tweets via DM

Making it easier for you to talk about specific tweets with specific people, Twitter is introducing a new Message button. This new feature appears alongside the like and retweet buttons, allowing you to send tweets via direct message. The feature is already rolling out to the Twitter app on both iOS and Android. Twitter has been adding new features to DM to take on bigger messaging services like WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger. According to the social network, the number of tweets shared privately on its service has increased by 200 percent in the past year.
