Near Share is an AirDrop-like feature coming to Windows 10

One of the best things about being an iOS and a Mac user are experiences like AirDrop (quick file transfers) and Continuity (start a taks on mobile, continue on a laptop or desktop). It looks like an update to Windows 10 called Near Share, will replicate AirDrop-like file sharing functionality between nearby PCs (or, theoretically, devices running Windows 10).

A feature like this is super convenient and allows you to share photos or files between nearby devices. I can see it being useful in meetings, in class and anytime you'd rather not use a USB thumbdrive or email files to someone that's sitting right next to you. We need more of these features as they are so useful and delightful and the technology already supports it.
