As the release approaches (well, if you count Halloween weekend as a close enough release date), Netflix is slowly releasing bits and pieces about the new season of Stranger Things. These aren’t spoilers though, as we know they’re being extra protective about leaks this time. But we do see most of our favorite characters (no sign of Eleven yet, though).

The second season starts off a year after Will returns. And while it might look like everything is back to normal, we all know it isn’t—especially if the end of season 1 is any indication. There is a new face, though. Max, who's played by Sadie Sink, is described as “a tough and confident girl whose appearance, behavior, and pursuits seem more typical of boys than of girls in this era. She has a complicated history and is generally suspicious of those around her.”
