Sony unveils new Xperia X handsets at MWC 2017, including a 4K model
Sony today announced four new additions to the Xperia X portfolio. The Xperia XZ Premium combines the world’s first super slow motion camera system in a smartphone with Sony’s triple image sensing (predictive hybrid autofocus, laser autofocus, RGB-IR) technology to capture amazing details beyond the human eye and enables advanced features and excellence in picture quality. Also for the first time in a smartphone, Xperia XZ Premium features a 4K HDR display for astonishing brightness, colour, clarity and contrast of users’ images, videos, games and other entertainment.
Sony Mobile’s new Xperia XZs also a 5.2-inch screen form factor. Rounding out the new line are the mid-tier Xperia XA1 Ultra (6”) and Xperia XA1 (5”), both of which offer eye-catching design and remarkable camera technology for capturing and sharing great shots.

Sony Mobile also announced the availability for Xperia Touch, formerly called Xperia Projector, a compact short-throw projector that turns any flat surface into an interactive and collaborative touchscreen. The company has also introduced the successor to Xperia Ear™ tentatively called Xperia™ Ear "Open-style CONCEPT", a truly next generation smart audio technology concept which is next in line within the Xperia Smart Products family. Xperia Touch and Xperia Ear "Open-style CONCEPT" represent a clear demonstration of Sony Mobile’s commitment to developing new types of “smart products” that will transform how users communicate, share information and enjoy entertainment.
