Spidey gets techie in new ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ trailers

With Spider-Man back in the Marvel fold, we’re getting to see how Peter Parker’s Spidey ties into the whole Marvel Cinematic Universe story. And the two new trailers show us how they’re connected and what’s different with Spider-Man this time around.

As you can see in the trailer above, Spider-Man: Homecoming has to be the most tech-inclined Spider-Man movie to date. Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron Man takes Peter under his wing and gives him some cool tech in the process. The tech comes with strings attached, or in his case, some form of parental control. And it seems Peter is having trouble with being the “friendly, neighbourhood Spider-Man.”

In this second trailer, the narrative shifts to Vulture’s side and shows us a bit of his motivations as the main baddie in the film. We see that helped cleanup in New York after the big Avengers battle and how he’s somehow taken Chitauri technology to create his Vulture suit and steal Stark’s weapons. Both trailers are getting us hyped for the film. Are you as excited as we are? Spider-Man: Homecoming is coming to theatres on July 7th.
